Quick Impression
I ordered Akashiyaki while wondering, “How is this different from regular takoyaki?” A quick search told me that it uses more egg, giving it a softer, fluffier texture. Dipping each piece in warm dashi broth brought out a delicate, comforting flavor—so much lighter than I expected. That said… after finishing, I did start craving some good ol’ saucy takoyaki too. Guess I just want it all!
