From June to November 2024, Yamanakako Panorama-dai underwent extensive improvements to enhance both comfort and safety for visitors. The revamped site now offers a more enjoyable experience, making it an even better destination for your next trip!
1. Installation of a Wooden Deck
A new wooden deck has been installed in the viewing area, making the space more spacious and comfortable for visitors to take in the panoramic views. Stylish chairs are also available, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery at your own pace.
2. Improved Parking and Shuttle Bus Service
Shuttle buses are available from Koryu Plaza Kirara and Mikuni Pass Parking Lot. To address the ongoing issue of roadside parking, visitors are encouraged to use the designated parking lots to ensure safe and responsible tourism.
Shuttle Bus Operating Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with seven trips per day.
Operating Period: Weekends and public holidays from Saturday, November 23, 2024, to Monday, January 13, 2025.

Visit on Weekdays to Avoid Crowds: Weekends tend to get busy, so plan a weekday trip if possible for a more peaceful experience.
Watch Out for Winter Road Conditions: Roads can freeze during early mornings and evenings in winter. Always check road conditions before riding. Additionally, calcium chloride is often spread on roads for de-icing, so don’t forget to clean your bike thoroughly after your ride.
